A snag list is an inventory of the things a home buyer is not happy with when a building project is finished.
Snag lists are carried out at the end of a building project during a 'defects liability period', where faults can be noted and subsequently put right or fixed by the builder/developer.
PAS Surveying & Design Services will inspect your new house or apartment before you move into it. During the inspection we will go through a detailed 200-item checklist, identifying any snags that we may encounter.
The client will then be issued with their detailed report and snag list. The clients builder is then obligated to remedy every item on the snag list, ensuring that when a client occupies their house or apartment they have assurance that everything is to the high standard and in compliance with Building Regulations.
PAS provide a Snag List Service so there is no need for our clients to hire an external professional to compile a Snag List Report.
In most cases before a prospective home buyer purchases a dwelling he/she will hire a professional Surveyor to inspect the dwelling to assess its condition as well as identifying any defects or areas that may need attention or maintenance work.
By identifying any areas of concern before a client purchases a new home they avoid having to remedy defects in years to come, can use the Condition Report as a basis to (re)negotiate price and the Condition Report may also deliver peace of mind to the client prior and after purchase.
PAS Surveying & Design Services are fully qualified to carry out Condition Surveys and provide this service in-house so there is no need for our clients to hire an external professional to compile a report.
