PAS Surveying & Design Services have gained over 15 years experience obtaining Planning Permission for clients in several counties in Ireland.
Such applications have included Rural and Urban Dwellings, Industrial & Commercial Buildings and applications for extensions to the above.
The process of Designing structures and applying for Planning Permission from Local and County Councils can take from 3 - 4 months. And if the application is appealed to An Bord Pleanala it can take a further 18 weeks.
Design & Planning Process
PAS Surveying & Design Services will engage the client at the design stage of the project and work through various design options.
Once a design is agreed upon, PAS will supply the relevant Survey, Percolation Test (if required), Drawings & Administrative Documents to the relevant Local Authority.
The application is then monitored through the planning process by PAS.
The next stage of the process involves the Local Authority either Granting or Refusing the application or requesting Further Information to come to a decision.
Once the decision is reached by the Local Authority, there is a period of four weeks for the client or a third party to appeal to An Bord Pleanala.
If this four week period passes without an appeal being lodged the Local Authority will issue a "Final Grant" and building work may begin on submission of a Commencement Notice.
PAS Surveying & Design Services will bring the client through the above processes confidently drawing upon experience gained within the industry over the past 15 years with care and attention.
