BER Assessments
From the 1st of January 2009 a BER certificate is compulsory for all homes being sold or rented and all new homes must have a BER Certificate before they are occupied as detailed under S.I . 666 of 2006 - European Communities (Energy Performance of Buildings) Regulations.
BER assessments performed on new dwellings also help determine compliance to Part L of the Building Regulations.
PAS Surveying & Design Services are qualified and registered with Sustainable Energy Ireland (SEI) to carry out the aforementioned BER Assessments. We provide a BER Assessor in-house so there is no need for our clients to hire an external BER Assessor to determine a buildings rating.
As with the Surveying and Percolation Testing services we provide, the BER Assessment service is worked into our pricing scheme and as a result it saves the client the cost of hiring an external BER Assessor.
Thus, providing an in-house BER Assessment facility, PAS offers prospective clients a very competitive market rate for all Site Assessment works.
